Mark Trammell forms new trio May 29, 2002
In an open letter, Mark Trammell writes:
Dear Friends:
It is with a grateful heart that we announce today the formation of the Mark Trammell Trio. The last month has proven to be one of taking baby steps and watching the hand of God at work in our lives. The response has been overwhelming and thrilling at the same time. We've received confirmation every day that God is at work putting together all the pieces necessary to begin this ministry. This could not have happened if it had not been for the unprecedented support of Tim Riley and all of Gold City. They have truly been instrumental in these beginning days.
Our first answer to prayer came in the person of Joseph Smith. He will be singing the middle part and playing piano on occasion. Joseph comes to us after leaving the wonderful Booth Brothers where he served in that ministry for three years. We are thrilled to have this multitalented gentleman join in this new work.
The tenor position will be filled by Mr. Eric Phillips from Asheville, NC. Eric is the son of the popular Ernie Phillips whom you all know from his years with the Kingsmen. Eric is a chip off the old block. He is a fine young singer, and truly has a heart for the Lord. We praise God for him.
Our booking will be done by April Potter Holleman who is no stranger to gospel music. She is a blessing to us. Please pray for her as she follows the leadership of the Lord.
We will be starting on our first project July 2 and hope to have it ready by Sept. 1. Please help us pray for Gods direction in this recording.
We would like to thank you all for over three hundred phone calls and e-mails, more than sixty demo tapes and dozens of cards that say "we're praying for you."
Special thanks to those who expressed interest in being a part of this ministry. You honor us by your desire to help. Also, a big thanks to the pastors in Florida for the domain name. Our friend in Texas for his graphic art work, the gentleman in Mississippi for the minidisk player, and our friend in Alabama for building our website. We CANNOT do this without all of you.
We will try to keep you informed of updates as God provides.

George Younce update May 2, 2002
In an email sent to subscribers on his web site, Ernie Haase says George is home but not doing any better. Doctors have run every test they can run but are still unsure what is causing George to feel weak. They say that it is not brain or heart related. George has had his current problems before, but not to the frequency or intensity he is experiencing now. The family is perplexed as to what this could be and is asking for help from anyone. George's symptoms are he suddenly feels a flutter in his stomach which moves up to his head and he then gets very dizzy. The doctors have checked his ears for infection and vertigo. All of these have been ruled out. Gina (George's daughter)and the entire Younce family asks for your prayers and if any one has any advice or leads fax Gina at 330-688-7706. Fax is preferred since they do not have e-mail. But if you do not have access to a fax machine then e-mail Ernie Hasse at ernienews@aol.com. To save time please, he asks you PLEASE, put in the subject line "Health Advice"
